INSURANCE

All reasonable care is taken to ensure the integrity, suitability and competence of our walkers. In order to ensure peace of mind for our clients we have Public Liability insurance.

Our insurance only covers the walker when working on an assignment for Willow's Pet-care planned walk and for the duration and times of the selected service.

Our insurance also covers care, custody and control of pets. In the event of a serious injury to an animal in our care, a claim may be made using our policy. You may not claim for any animal illnesses or medical conditions. You are initially responsible for any veterinary bills whilst pets are in our care.

All dogs are required by law to have an identification tag and collar displaying the owner’s name and address. Willow's Pet-care reserves the right not to walk dogs without the correct identification in place.

We will care for your animal as you would, and whilst we make every effort to ensure your pet is well looked after in your absence, we cannot be held liable for the death of a pet due to illness or old age or a pre-existing medical condition.

VETERINARY

Dogs must be up to date with all worm and flea treatments.

Dogs must be fully inoculated and proof of vaccinations may be required.

All efforts will be made to contact you in the event of an emergency. It is also recommended that you provide us with emergency contact information of a trusted third party. However, we reserve the right to make decisions regarding your dog’s health, acting in the best interest of your dog and on advice from a veterinary surgeon.
